Thank you for visiting Ham’s Jam. Here you will find that superior craftsmanship, utility and beauty are merged to create products of “practical distinction”. Our products are not only designed to be useful, but pleasing to your senses. After all, if you are going to use something regularly, shouldn’t it make you happy too?
So how did we come up with the name "Ham's Jam", and what is up with the banana tree? I work from home while caring for our son Hamilton. He is truly my inspiration. If I did not have the opportunity to stay at home with him, I don't know that I would have ever taken the time to explore creative avenues.
One thing that I love to do with Hamilton is to sing to him. I sing the "Name Game" and mix up the words creating our own little song that we call a "Ham's Jam". And every "Name Game" song starts the same, "Ham-Ham-Bo-Bam-Banana-Fana-Fo-Fam". This is where the banana tree comes in. When we first opened over a year ago, there was a "happy" banana in our logo. We have since grown up so to speak, but we wanted to hold onto the past and pay tribute to our inspiration - Hamilton. We didn't want to lose the connection to the "Name Game", so we dropped the "happy" banana and picked up the beautiful banana tree!
